What are some good sauces to cook chicken in?
I cook for myself a lot and we always have chicken breasts in the freezer. I usually make it with rice or as chicken fetticuine alfredo, but it gets old. What are some yummy and easy sauces or recipes for chicken breasts?

- I just eyeball this sauce when I make it, so I can't give you exact measurements, so these are just approximations. 1 tbsp butter 2 tbsp dijon mustard 1/4 cup beef broth 2-4 tbsp sour cream 2 tbsp red pepper sauce (I use A1 Chicago Steakhouse marinade) Melt the butter in a saucepan, add in beef broth, wisk in all other ingredients. Let simmer at medium to medium high, stirring occasionally, until it reduces and thickens. I made this for a sauce to go with a steak one day, and I ended up loving the sauce I make it to go with just about everything. Feel free to change measurements to taste. I usually add in sliced up chicken breast and serve with egg noodles.
- Ohh there is this one chicken recipe that is sooo easy and delicious. you get an overn proof pan, a can of no name brand celery soup. pour that into the pan along with half a can of water. then you add you chicken in there. cook at 350' for one hour. then you throw that one some rice, and maybe even add in some cooked veggies. mmm

- Make Teriyaki chicken. I don't have a specific recipe for this, Use about 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1 Tablespoon brown sugar, 2 cloves garlic crushes, and 1 tsp. fresh ground ginger. Bake the chicken in this marinade, turning it several times as it bakes.
- Something yummy and delicious is just melting plain old apricot preserves or jam. This makes a satisfying sweet and sticky sauce for chicken and goes great with rice. You can also try this... grape jelly, and chili sauce mixed and melted together for dipping chunks of breaded chicken in. But by all means check out this link... http://www.reluctantgourmet.com/sauce_recipes.htm
