painting help! what type of paint do i use to paint an outdoor chicken coop?

it is wooden and i would like to keep it that way and just paint designs on it... what type of paint do i use and how much does it cost?

1. Exterior house paint. You'll have to check out the cost at your local paint store. Ask neighbors if they have any they'd like to get rid of.
2. Use an exterior semi-gloss paint. It's the easiest to clean. And the cost varies greatly from $10 or so for cheap paint to $20 and up for very good paint per gallon.
