  1. Depends on what your idea of "great" is .. I like to cook mine 2 diff ways. Saute Diced garlic in butter, then add your favorite hot sauce. Mine is Franks. Or you can do the same thing and then make your own teriyaki sauce. Use soy sauce and sugar for that. Just add sugar until it is sweet enough for your taste. Good luck and Good cooking to ya.
  2. theres this sauce called wing it, amazing!! my mother came over and mixed all these crazy ingredients and grilled the wings and my wife and I was like wow WING IT is better. try it out!
  3. 3 pounds chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded 1/2 cup butter 1 cup hot sauce 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper Preheat grill for high heat. Lightly oil the grill grate. Cook the wings 8 to 12 minutes on each side, until juices run clear. The larger pieces will take slightly longer to cook. Melt the butter in a saucepan, and mix in the hot sauce, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Place wings in a large container with a secure lid. Pour sauce over the wings, and seal. Shake wings with the sauce until thoroughly coated.
  4. HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN WINGS 1/2 cup liquid honey 1/4 cup lemon juice 1/4 cup water 3 tbsp ketchup 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp garlic salt 1 tsp ground ginger Combine all ingredients in sauce pan. Heat to boiling and simmer for 5 minutes. Place 3 lbs chicken wings separated into a 9x13 baking dish. Pour sauce over wings. Marinate for 2 hrs. Bake at 400 F for 1 hour, turning once.
  5. Try a marinade made from the following ingredients. A little orange juice, plenty of ketchup, plenty of honey, and a little soy sauce. Marinate the wings for a couple of hours then just roast in the oven. Keep turning them over so they don't stick to the dish as they are quite likely to do so because of the honey.
  6. If they are gonna be naked- I use a large ziplock bag and in it pour a bottle of louisiana hot sauce and 1 stick of melted butter and marinate overnight- then cook on the charcoal grill. If i want them with breading- marinate in conatiner or zip lock bag with 1 conatiner of buttermilk and 1 small bottle louisiana hot sauce, then dry them off well and dredge in mixture of flour, salt, pepper, and paprika, then egg & milk wash, then the flour again and fry in oil Franks hot sauce really is the best, but Louisiana is cheaper
  7. Cut wings into 3 pieces, discard tips. Dip chicken into egg, then roll in cornstarch, garlic, and Lawry's. Fry in hot oil until brown. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with more garlic powder and Lawry's if desired.
  8. Try this one and tell me how great it is? 1 cup all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon paprika 1 egg 1 cup milk 2 chicken breast fillets 4-6 cups vegetable oil 1/4 cup Crystal or Frank's Louisiana hot sauce 1 tablespoon margarine On the side bleu cheese dressing (for dipping) celery sticks 1. Combine flour, salt, peppers and paprika in a medium bowl. 2. In another small bowl, whisk together egg and milk. 3. Slice each chicken breast into 6 pieces. Preheat 4-6 cups of vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees. 4. One or two at a time, dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, then into the breading blend; then repeat the process so that each piece of chicken is double-coated. 5. When all chicken pieces have been breaded, arrange them on a plate and chill for 15 minutes. 6. When the chicken is done resting, drop each piece into the hot oil and fry for 5-6 minutes or until each piece is browned. 7. As chicken fries, combine the hot sauce and margarine in a small bowl. Microwave sauce for 20-30 seconds or just until the margarine is melted, then stir to combine. You can also use a small saucepan for this step. Just combine the hot sauce and margarine in the saucepan over low heat and stir until margarine is melted and ingredients are blended. 8. When chicken pieces are done frying, remove them to a plate lined with a couple paper towels. 9. Place the chicken pieces into a covered container such as a large jar with a lid. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the container, cover, and then shake gently until each piece of chicken is coated with sauce. Pour the chicken onto a plate and serve the dish with bleu cheese dressing and sliced celery on the side. Serves 2-4 as an appetizer.
  9. I lived in Buffalo so I like "authentic" Buffalo wings. It's just Frank's Red Hot. But I also like making my own sauce with a can of Chipotle peppers, some garlic powder and two cups of vinegar buzzed in a blender. My best sauce is made with Chipotle, tomato paste, honey, A1, worchestershire sauce, and garlic. I'd tell you more but then I'd have to kill ya.
