Did I eat good today?
Breakfast: Bowl of honey bunches of oats with 2% milk A glass of 100% juicy juice Lunch: Banquet honey bbq chicken wings (540 calories) Leftover homade scalaped potatoes Dinner: I am not sure yet but I think hamburgers but I don't know what else. I am 16... Should I make some vegtables with my lunch?? I also had a serving - 1.5 servings of stir fry vegtables with my lunch (30 - 45 caloreis) yes juicy juice is 100% juice... Ok I can't eat what we don't have. We only have 2% milk and honey bunches of oats. I can't choose what to have for dinner especially when I am going to a gathering for dinner....

- did i eat well today? * juicy juice is all sugar, and try skim milk. lunch was straight bad. hamburgers without cheese and not cooked in a fatty way wihtout a bun and vegtables should be good. yes, you need veggies. you need more fruit too.
- O.K meals, your 16, so you shouldn't really have to worry... and you can never have two many veggies!
- That lunch sounds like a bit much, mostly fat and starch, not healthful. Try to eat more fruit and vegetables, protein, fewer carbs, less fat, lower calories.
- honey bunches of oats = sugar! well not so good get more veggies and less meat :D
- you are lacking nutrients.......wheres the fruits and veggies?....wether you are trying to watch your weight or not, it doesn't matter.....you NEED nutrients to make your body strong and ready to fight disease and sickness.
- First off, yes Juicy Juice has sugar; However it is 100% FRUIT JUICE and counts as a serving of actual fruit. Fruit has natural sugars...can't do anything about that. What you ate today doesn't sound horribly devastating in anyway. And as long as you eat in moderation, and stay active you should be fine.
- i think that you are 16 and you shouldnt worry about what you are eating right now as long as your in good health just make sure you dont eat too much and some veggies now and then and should be great
- u know you don't have to moniter your calories every day unless ur trying to lose weight. even then just stay away from fatty and sugary foods and fill up on lots of fruits veggies and other healthy foods.
- I already told you, you sound perfect If this what you usually eat and your weight is still fine don't worry it!
- Not really, but it could be a lot worse.
- Skim milk - not 2% Not positive but I'm sure that cereal has a lot of sugar Juicy juice is all sugar - try 1cup of real OJ instead Your lunch was horrible for an everyday affair Your diet really depends on how active you are. If you're involved in sports then you'll need more calories than if you aren't active. I try to eat 5-6 small meals a day that are about 300-350 calories each. This way you never get hungry because you're eating every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. If you eat when you're already hungry then usually you'll over eat or make poor nutrition decisions. I also stay under 100 carbs a day and I'm the gym for 1 1/2 to 2 hours -5 times a week. Here's what I usuallly eat... breakfast - 1 egg + 3 egg whites pan fried with Pam cooking spray, Light english muffin with spray butter and sliced tomatoe with about 1 tsp fat free mayo and of course coffee (with skim milk and 2 spenda's). Or, sometimes I'll have a bowl of Special K Red Berries with skim milk snack - low sugar yogurt lunch - turkey sandwhich with ff mayo and mustard and light/low calorie soup snack - salad with 1 serving of light dressing or bowl of steamed veggies with spray butter dinner - 4-5oz of skinless boneless chicken breast (cooked however but not fried), steamed brocolli w/ spray butter and a salad w/ 1 serving of light dressing I drink Crystal Lite peach tea all day long - or plain water. Stay away from soda - 1 can of regular Coke has enough sugar to probably last me 2 days, if not more!! I give myself 1 or 2 cheat meals a week where I eat whatever I want for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. This way I never feel deprived of the foods I love that aren't so good on a regular basis
- Honey bunches of oats aren't very healthy if you ask me. It's full of sugar. Either try a more healthy cereal, ie. Special K, Corn Flakes, or change your breakfast. Aim for carbs (found in bread and cereal) and fruit. Maybe some dairy. For example: a whole-wheat bagel with cream cheese and jam, plus an apple or some orange juice. Lunch should be simple, not something with 540+ calories in it. A sandwich or a sub is usually the best. Go get a Subway turkey or ham sub, stuff it with veggies. No chips. DON'T have hamburgers for dinner. Have something more healthy with less preservatives in the meat. Like some rice with some chicken or better yet some fish, like tuna or salmon, which are great for the body. You need more fruits and veggies in your diet. Besides that I think it's ok!
- That sounds pretty good for a 16 year old to me! Breakfast and lunch were okay. I'm not so sure about the hamburgers... If they aren't greasy, then it's okay. As long as it's not Burger King or something! (: Good job!
- sounds good :) but if you are on a diet, try having the burger w/ no bun. fruits and veggies are always good! don't worry, a lot of people on here are really mean. :)
- Try to stop drinking 2% milk. Otherwise, not bad.
