thermal hovabator incubator or still air poultry incubator for leopard geckos?

i am breeding leopard geckos and i was wonderings which would be better a thermal air flow hovabator which is designed for reptiles or a still air poultry incubator.... actually.. its not a matter of being BETTER im more curious if a still air poultry incubator would work for leopard geckos.... or would it dry out the eggs?... imi asking because i would have to order the hovabator online and i wouldnt get it for a week where as i could go to the farm supply store and buy one right away... i dont know if i have a week before she lays the eggs... any opinions would be appreciated... thanks

1. You have to remember that bird eggs and reptiles eggs differ in that reptile eggs cannot be rolled as a bird egg requires. And it looks like the Hova-bator doesn't not roll the eggs, so I would go with either, but you may want to wait for a response from someone who has actually tried to incubate eggs. I am only just starting to get into the idea of breeding..
2. I would go with the hovabator if i were you but remember that once you place the eggs thats it.Do not move shift or touch the eggs once placed.If you move or disturb them in anyway you will most likly kill them.Well i wish you the best of luck,and if all turns out for you contact me i will buy one of your babies...LOL:)
3. go with hovabator but remember hovabator sell 2 types, 1 type is sill air (recommended for reptile eggs) 2 has a egg turner and a fan, never use this one, turning eggs will die, and the fan will dry out the eggs regardless of the humitity, so stay away from number 2 and buy number 1 pony girl chicken incubator will work fine, the humidity comes from inside the deli cup....do more research PS model nuber is 1602n is the one you want
4. no the chicken incubator won't work. leos need a lot of humidity in the incubator and chickens don't get a reptile incubator here is one site that sells good ones. http://randellburkeyco.com if the link doesn't work than just look up randall burkey on google. there is a very good one for only about $50 good luck
