Public Comments
- they said something about how they were ashamed that Bush was from Texas
- she said she was ashamed that gearge w. was a texan....i agree with her...people made way too much out of her statement. i have and do totally support her. this is america. freedom of speach right? right !
- She said that she was ashamed Bush was from texas. She later retracted that saying she was sorry after people stopped buying the cds. A while after she changed her mind again saying that she stood by her first comment and the listeners were wrong and ridiculous for letting that get to them.
- That WASN'T what it was about anyway. She wanted everyone to think that was what it was about. First off THAT offended people because she was ON FOREIGN SOIL. It wasn't offensive because she said it, it was saying in on foreign soil. OK then radio was starting to play their music again and let it go so she had to start a feud with Toby Keith to call attention TO HERSELF AGAIN. People got tired of her behavior. She constantly opened her mouth to get attention, and it finally caught up with her. Then TK ended the feud and said he realized how immature he was being and it was over, she then wore that FUTK shirt to the award show(and took what a week or two to come up with what it "meant) and that was the end of it. Liberals and the Dixie Chicks want you to forget the WHOLE story and go to only her comments. They want you to forget her comment about anyone could have wrote The Angry American(and she has HOW many songs to her writing credit? Name 2 if she wants to talk about people's writing ability, and he never claimed that was the best written song).
