Are there breeds of chicks (baby chickens) that stay little and look the same when they grow up?
I really want chicks, but I just want little baby chicks! I don't want them to turn into chickens and be big and lay eggs, etc. I was just wondering if there was such a thing as chicks that stayed little, and looked the same when they grow up? (chicks that stay chicks, even when they are adults?)

- No. No animal looks like it does when it's a baby when it grows up. The closest you'll PROBABLY get is a Silkie. They don't stay puff-ball fuzzy, but they do stay "silky". Their feathers are more like fur.
- the answer to this question you wish ! no way! nada chance baby.
- No, there are not. Chicks are born with down and all of them will develop feathers that cover that down and change their appearance. I do raise Silkie chickens, their feathers do not contain the barbs to hold the feather together so the over all effect is a chicken with fur. They are a very docile breed and something you may be interested in.
- No, there is no breed of chickens where the chicks stay the way they are. Everything has to grow up. There's not one thing in this planet that looks the same when it's a baby aside from a worm or something. Hope this helps!
- there are small breeds bantams but they are still much bigger than you describe ,so short answer ....no
- I cannot think of any living creature that stays the same as the time it was born or hatched ,in fact changes are seen each day by a close & careful observer .Can you imagine a world full of little creatures & babies of all sorts ,refusing to grow up,staying put as it were. I think i know what is right for you,opt for a tiny breed like a silkie, small & cuddly but an adult all the same.
