- you know, it is illegal to sell dyed chicks, but if you were going to have the for a week until the dye comes off, then you throw them away, dont get them. it is mean and they make awful easter presents, trust me. If you want them for pets, you can put food coloring in a spray bottle and cover their eyes and squirt them,
- The person above me is totally correct. You won't find them. Although you can create them yourself, you would have had to have bought an incubator, incubated it for most of the period required, gone through the process of dying the chick, then hope it hatches when the time comes. I suppose you could put food dye on them, but make sure to keep it out of their eyes and vent areas, and off their skin. Do not get these for an easter present- even a non-dyed one. They are not toys you can throw away- they grow into large messy birds, and require constant care as chicks so they do not die. Do you realize you would have to set up a dry place to keep them, with ventilation and no drafts, with a heat lamp to keep the temperature at 95F, and chick food and water?
- not sure, thats kinda crazy to dye a baby chick haha but just find a baby chick and dye it lol! ill help u catch one im pretty fast haha
