Do Chicks Follow You Around Like Baby Ducks?

I know someone with a special breed of chickens and he said he would let me hatch a few for him in the summer. I just wondering do baby chicks follow you around like baby ducks.

1. im pretty sure they do because i once bought a chick for my daughter and she used to run and it would chase her.
2. I've raised a lot of chickens in the past. Yes, if you spend a lot of time with them chicks will follow you. A lot of times when I had chicks I would let them run around outside under my supervision and then I would make clucking noises and they'd run to me. They thought I was their mother. Hope this helps!
