what can i use as a bird egg incubator?

we found a little bird egg and now my brother wants to keep it and try to hatch it. is this possible? if so, what are some tips for doing this? can i make my own incubator or what can i use as an incubator? etc. thanks :D

1. All you really need is a soft bed for it to lay on and the heat from a lamp to substatute a birds body warmth.
