- Farmer's Breakfast 1 tablespoon cooking oil 1 cup loose-pack frozen diced hash brown potatoes with onion and peppers, thawed 1/2 cup coarsely chopped cooked Tennessee Pride sausage 3 eggs 3 tablespoons water 2 tablespoons shredded American cheese Directions 1. In a medium skillet heat oil over medium heat. Add potatoes in a single layer. Cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring once. Stir in sausage. 2. In a small bowl beat together eggs and water with a rotary beater; pour over potato mixture. Cook over medium heat, without stirring, until egg mixture begins to set on the bottom and around edge. Using a spatula or a large spoon, lift and fold the partially cooked egg mixture so that the uncooked portion flows underneath. 3. Continue cooking over medium heat until egg mixture is cooked through but is still glossy and moist. Sprinkle with cheese. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Makes 2 servings. I modified this recipe for you: http://www.bhg.com/recipe/eggs/farmers-breakfast/ Use 2 pie crusts + 2 cans of apple pie filling to bake a pie. Pineapple French toast: http://www.mrbreakfast.com/superdisplay.asp?recipeid=351 Freeze the rest of the stuff; I don't have any more ideas.
- Wow...that is certainly an assortment of items! If you're just wanting to make something to pass the time and possibly eat a bit I'd make 2 apple pies. One to keep, and one to share with friends at work or school! Put one can of pie filling into one crust, and then use the third pie crust to cut shapes out of to put on top of the two pies. It will have an "open" top or cobbler sort of a feel. Garnish with cool whip and chow down! If you're looking for a meat dish... You could cook the two pork chops (once defrosted) by browning them and then adding a can of your cream of soup. Or you could brown the sausage, drain it, then add the jar of pizza sauce. Toast some of the bread, then spoon the sausage mixture over top of that...add some cheese then broil until bubbly for a sort of pizza type sandwich thing... And that's all I've got... Personally I'd eat the pineapple straight outta the can with a dollop of cool whip!
- ok let's see, save the pork chops for later, keep em in the freezer. whisk the eggs together, and put them in a BIG casserole pan, thaw the hash browns and grid them up and throw them in with the eggs, maybe a 1/2 c. of milk in with the eggs, put as much cheese as you wan't in maybe around 1/2 to 2 c. put cook the grround beef thoroughly and cook the sausage and cut it up and put it with the eggs too put in a little salt and pepper and bake it off, and for dessert have apple pie ith cool whip and another day you can have chicken soup.
- Pork Chops Hash Browns Fried Eggs (sunny-side up) (veggies, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions?) (that will do for my dinner) Sausage Ring and Egg Pies if they are savoury pie shells. The mince would be a good start for a casserole but you miss the vitals like veggies and potatoes.
