Why do liberals like the Dixie Chicks and Obama go overseas and say bad things about America all the time?

10. Eweh...I'm very liberal and cannot stand the Dixie Chicks. If memory serves me well, the right loved the Dixie Chicks until they spoke their opinions.
11. Explain what you mean by "bad things." If I say America is effectually broke. Is that a factual thing? Or is it a "bad thing" because it's a truth you don't like to hear?

I think you need to read the whole statement.

15. We don't say bad things all the time but we do admit that our country isn't perfect. Instead of putting on the red white and blue blindfold and screaming "we're so perfect and you all suck!" We want to learn from other places and include some of the good things that they have into our country to make it better. And you're still ticked off about the Dixie Chicks? Wasn't that six years ago?

22. for one reason only, because that's what FOX and Rush tell their loyal followers to believe about democrats. And what motive do they have to say otherwise? they tell the viewers this, their rating climb, they are a media success. If chewing up and spitting out Bush boosted their ratings then you can count on them sacrificing him on the air without batting an eye. They are ratings whores, pure and simple.
23. they are encouraged and rewarded to do this by those who determine if they will continue in the business, always with these performers you can look at who their agents are etc. it is a small world, tolerating no dissent, the industry figures with power bet on politicians like they do their "artists" and promote those who will make money for them. the industry is not run by the performers but by the people behind them, competition for work is fierce and that environment is disorienting, it is a hall of mirrors.

Re; Dixie Chicks, as a Native Texan I am embarrassed that they're from Texas. Re; Obama, as an American I'm embarrassed that he wasn't aborted. ...and I'm pro life. (but willing to make that exception).
25. It plays up to the whole world image of the United States. So much of the world views the whole (not left or right but the whole) U.S. as elitists, arrogant, snobby and lazy do nothings that bicker amongst ourselves about how great we are.

30. The problem with liberals is liberalism. Liberals hate America. Team Obama’s world tour wasn’t about defending America and advancing our best interests. It was about raising President Obama’s approval numbers among the Euroweenies. Bow. Scrape. Bush-bash. Suck up. Mission accomplished! Good work, Comrade. Only 1380 Days Left For Obama. Will this be enough time for Obama to tear apart America? To tear her apart by dividing the races, by dismantling her economy, by trashing her Constitution and by offering up America for the world leaders to control and destroy. America is special. America is an experiment at freedom. And the rules are laid out for us all in our Constitution. 200+ years of this “experiment” have given the world the most innovative, free and prosperous nation that exists. Yet, now Obama wants to throw this all away. Will this be enough time for Obama to appoint all of the judges he needs in order to implement his vision of total government control? Remember, if he cannot pass what he wants through the Constitutional government process he will go to the courts for his rulings - all the way the the Supreme Court - and he will see to it that he gets his way. o_O
