what do you put on your grill chicken to marinate it? And what side do you have with it?

- I use Dales seasoning...anything goes with chicken. Might as well keep it healthy and have some steamed broccoli and rice.
- Dry white wine or apple cider or apple juice with chopped ginger root and/or chopped garlic cloves. As a side grilled Asparagus and baked potatoes.
- Put your chicken in a ziploc bag with your marinade. Put the bag in the frig and turn it over every 15 minutes. You can make a simple marinade with 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup vinegar, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic salt, and 1/4 tsp onion salt. Then add any other herb or spice you like to that.... rosemary, thyme, sage, oregano, paprika, even cinammon
- I usually use "Paul Newman's " cajun marinade which has a little spicy kick to it and accompany it with a salad.
- italian dressing to marinate then season lightly with seasoning salt, pepper, garlic powder
- Dont marinade at first. Brine. Take 1/3-1/2 cup of Kosher salt and dissolve in water. Soak chicken for 30-45 minutes. Dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper and oil. Then grill indirect for 40 minutes. Take some peaches, cut in half and brushed with oil and grill for about 2 minutes per side. Pineapple grills nice as well. Rice is classic as is rice-a-roni for a side dish. Chicken is light in flavor so you want to go light tastes for the side dishes as well.
