Chook Me!

How do I introduce two rabbits? Please read? 10 points!?

Hi. I am thinking about getting 2 rabbits, but of different breeds. I want a lop-eared one, and a normal eared one. I am thinking about a netherland lop, and a dutch rabbit. They will be living in this hutch: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Giant-Poultry-Chicken-House-Coop-SHED-Rabbit-Hutch-0588_W0QQitemZ300316741075QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Pet_Supplies_Poultry?hash=item45ec45cdd3&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50 Is it an ok size? I will probably eventually get 3 rabbits... but I will first be getting one, then a while later I will get another. Can a small rabbit live with a big one? Is the hutch ok?

  1. It's Ok though the bigger the better. With introductions go slowly but they should be able to go together.
  2. Cage - It's a really nice size, they should be happy in it. Just watch out if you have any foxes/wild animals come to your garden Rabbits - If you do the introduction slowly, it should all be fine.
  3. Your cage looks like a good size. Make sure you don't have any foxes in your area! And just introduce them really slowly and it will be fine. Try putting them together for 10 minutes a day. Then gradually built that up to 30 minutes, then 1 hour and so on!
