How is it that hen hatched chicks know to run and hide when the see the shadow or hear a hawk?

They never seen or heard a hawk when they were an egg, hatchery chicks do not have the same Instinct Instinctive knowledge had to be put in them by a high and intelligent power.

  2. That bitty knows and speaks to it's mother from inside the egg before it pecks it's way out. It can live 2 or 3 days off of the nourishment it got from the egg. There are certain vital messages passed in the genetic code that the Lord provided, but a setting hen brings it out sooner than a incubated chic can develop it. With the mother hen and the others they learn the different warning calls and what they mean, sort of like a language. Also there are calls that tell about food and it's discovery, and the rooster uses trickery in this regard to attract a hen to get her in range of his main function as a cock. chickens even sing when they are happy and secure, and hens when they lay an egg to brag on.
