What ever happen to Dixie Chicks and Shania Twain?

They were both some of the biggest woman country stars in the day...the 90s at least lol. Are they ever planning on releasing new albums? New music? Anything?

1. Dixie Chicks lost most of their country fans for talking cr*p about the U.S. while in Europe during the war.. and Shania, I don't really know..I think her songs just lost some spark over the years and so she lost some popularity too..
