Chook Me!

what speed would require you to throw through a chicken coop?

i remember the scene in the natural where the boy throws the ball through the wall of a chicken coop. And i was wondering how hard you would need to throw to do that? Also, what about a sheet of plywood?

  1. It would have to be very fast. I know a chicken coop is made from- well, chicken wire. That is not very strong, but it would stop most normal pitches. We have a baseball field near our house, and it has a backstop made from plywood. It has been hit many times with 80 mph pitches, and has never broken. So I would guess 125 mph or more to do that in real life.
