Why did the Dixie Chicks get into all this trouble and Pink did not?

When the Dixie Chicks made a comment about president Bush all hell broke loose. They got banned from a lot of radio stations and got spit out by half of the nation. After that Pink makes a song "Dear mister president" and she doesn't get into a world of trouble. Why is that?

1. The Dixie Chicks did it outside the country before Americans were used to filthy American-hating liberals trashing our country to other countries all the time -- which now we have a president that does that. And the war was very new. Right, Jennifer, you sound like a really classy person. /end sarcasm
2. First of all; timing. The Dixie Chicks did this in the critical invasion phase. Further they did in front of a foreign audience which seemed rather butt-kissey.
3. Cause the Dixie Chicks are country and cater to conservative audiences, whereas Pink is retarded and caters to retarded audiences(Liberals)
4. Nathalie declared in an England concert that she was ashamed the president of the united states was from texas. this happened the same day Bush declared war on Iraq. The American people had been led to believe that this war was justified and legitimate and thus were offended by what she said. however when they realized bush was full of shit people started supporting the Dixie Chicks again and when they were back in the same arena for another concert she said it again and no one flinched. P!nk on the other hand was just asking questions of the president that the people wanted to know without saying he was an ass outright. Also when P!nk's song came out people were already doubting Bush. Also no where she did an interview for that album was she allowed to use that song except on Jimmi Kimmel. Speaking out against Bush was considered un-American until they realized the shit he caused. Now he is one of the biggest jokes ever.
