Meatballs Spinach and Articoke Dip Basil/Mozerella tomatoes Cheesy Potato Casserole Marinated Chicken Pieces toothpicks Italian Pasta Salad Veg. Tray Cheese Tray Ceasar Salad Mandarin Salad - Is that too much, what should I omit, and should I include Mini Sandwiches or no? For the Spinach and Art dip I was just going to use some French Bread My grandmother is bringing the cake, I was thinking about bringing some fruit to go with??

  1. I think that is perfect and lots to choose from.You don't need to add anymore.Sounds good.Can I go?lol
  2. What about cake or other sweet? Other than that, it sounds good.
  3. just because people don't rsvp doesn't mean you supply food for your entire guest list, hoping they'll show up. you'll have loads of wasted food. call people and find out if they're coming, tell them you have to plan how much food to make and you don't want them to show up and not have a plate because they weren't counted!
  4. That is plenty! To be honest, I think you can eliminate the meatballs and the mandarin salad. What are you serving with the spinach and artichoke dip? Crackers/bread cubes? Don't forget the cake/dessert!!
  5. Your menu sounds really heavy. What about ladies classics like cucumber sandwiches fresh fruit, bruschetta, etc
  6. Wow, that's alot. Sounds great! I helped my sister put on my neice's shower and she did sanwiches on croissants. She had chunky chicken salad with green grapes, roast beef, & ham with cheese choices. Also include a pasta salad. You could also include a fresh fruit salad with a yogurt dip. I made two different yogurt dips for an event, one with vanilla yogurt, tang-type instant drink, and a some sugar, but the one people loved the best was were I used a sugar free cranberry instant drink (from Walmart) instead of the orange drink. I must of had a dozen people ask for the cranberry recipe out of 30 people. If you want more, just have a few easy dips to munch on before or during activities. Enjoy what ever you do - and make sure you have fun - that's the most important thing!!!
  7. 1. I wouldn't recommend meatballs unless you're having a pasta dish aside it. Meatballs is something that is generally expected as a side part to something else. 2. I'd bring crackers for the dip. 3. I would also add some small candies such as M&Ms or after dinner mints. Also, I agree on the fruit.
  8. In my opinion, there is never such a thing as too much food. My mother always ingrained that in my head when I was young and I would help her prepare for parties. She's always say, "It's better to have too much, then to have too little. That's embarrassing." With that said, I would omit the Chessy Potato Casserole and opt for a different type of potato. A simple oven roasted potatoes might do well. But, something about a chessy, heavy casserole with light foods like basil/mozz salad and marinated chicken pieces doesn't go. I would also include fruit with the cake. Not everyone is a fan of cake and many women like to go light with dessert. Fresh fruit is always a wonderful option.
  9. Yummmm... an I come? I'll bring the bride a gift :) Seriously it sounds great. Remember that with salads you'll need a forks. I might would eliminate one of the salads in lieu of mini-sandwiches. And yes, fruit is always good.
  10. I'm assuming when you say meatballs you mean the mini meatballs. I would probably eliminate the cheesy potato casserole and add a fruit salad. Question though...is it supposed to be a lunch or just appetizer-like food? If it's lunch then I think you should include finger sandwiches and lose another salad.
