What are the side effects of chicken pox?

Im 15 and I think I got chicken pox's from my baby sisters play at day care. I heared that if your over 10 and have it you'll die.

I had chicken pox at 35.Terrible unforgetable pain for 2 months. I survived.

NO you WON'T die! but it can be more serious now when your 15 than if you have it when you are a baby, the most you will get is some small scars from the spots! There will be one often called the mother spot, which after they have gone is a little white scar but don't worry! Best thing to do IS DON'T SCRATCH !!!! it will be painful and leave more mess! It is most likely not going to kill you, but it can cause a lot of itching and scratching. That can cause scars! You need to ask you Mom or G-ma for something to keep you from itching...like benedryl (sorry I'm not spelling that right)
