How can you tell if you have chicken pox?
I have larger sized red circle, like the bigest one is the size of a penny, and the smallest the size of, well just a little bit smaller. I have counted 4 today. Is this a allergie or chicken pox. I havent had them before.

- Doesn't sound like chicken pox. The typically look like pimples, around the same size and if (don't but if) you were to scratch them, they ooze (this is how they spread).
- Probably allergy but check with your doctor in case.
- Do they itch? are they scabed? if so you may have the pox, go to the doctor!
- u cant tell unless ur a doctor
- do u have a fever also? are they scab like and itchy? then u prob have chicken pox. put some calomine lotion on them and they'll go away. dont itch or they will scar
- If you have chickenpox, you'll have other symptoms too. Do you have a fever? Headache? Have you been around anyone with chickenpox in the last month? Do the red spots itch intensely? Are they blistery? If it really is chickenpox, you'll feel pretty sick, and may have an upset stomach as well. Also, you might ask a parent if you ever had them. If you did, then chances are that you won't get them again. Lynne,RN
- allrgies most likely, sounds more like the hives my mom got from this medication she was taking.
- chicken pox lesions starts like blisters that doesn't hurt as much..they can be red around the blister....sometimes they are not... they turn to scabs and when it happens...that's the most communicative stage....... calamine lotion help so u have less itching....but some people tend to have more lesions than others read the link below..hope it helps
