ok you know the names f the dixie chicks nateli, emily, and martie now is martie her real name or do you know? becouse that is a weird name for a girl. no afence for people named martie

1. She was born Martha Elenor Erwin and probably liked being called Martie instead of Martha. :)

3. i dont know if that is her real name but i dont really consider them country anymore.

5. Martie is the female version of Marty. It is a common usage in Texas. But I've removed all of my Dixie Chicks CDs from my collection.
