Are Dixie Chicks' songs bad 2 sing in the west tn idol?

I can only sing dixie chicks songs, but I'm afraid I won't do as good cuz ppl will discriminate against me cuz I'm singing their songs. I really like their songs. especially wide open spaces, cowboy take me away, and to the top of the world. I'll be 13 in september, should I sing dixie chicks songs or is it a bad idea?

1. I don't think they'll discriminate against that. Most people are over it now that Bush is out of office (and with very low approval ratings). You might have something else prepared in case they don't like the first song and ask for another. Not likely but I've seen it happen. Good luck!
