How long does in take for chicken pox rash to come out fully?
My 5 year old has chicken pox going around his class, i noticed last night he had 5 spots on the trunk of his body, today he has no more,I just wondered if it too more than a day for the spots to appear.

- 1 week then another 2 weeks to fully recover.
- It can take up to a week for the spots to appear and sometimes the last ones won`t disappear for up to 3 weeks. He is able to go back to school once the spots have dried. Hope he isn`t feeling too poorly
- He may get more as the day goes on or this may be all he gets. It is hard to tell. Each case is different. My question is why weren't all of these kids vaccinated against chicken pox?
- Chickenpox blisters are usually less than a quarter of an inch wide, have a reddish base, and appear in bouts over 2 to 4 days. The rash may be more extensive or severe in kids who have skin disorders such as eczema.
- usually 2 weeks
