Chickens in Guildford?

We're getting chickens, we have built a coop and run(it's huge) and we want to buy 6 chickens to start with, possible buying another 6 later on. Does anyone know where we can buy them for a good price? preferably hybrids.

1. probably in a farm, buy chicken eggs from it, and a machine that will make them hatch. if the eggs are cold, cold, it'll never Hatch!
2. Don't buy eggs it's not worth all the effort when you can buy baby chickens, Try RSPCA's or a poultry auctions.
3. There is a Magazine called Practical Poultry, and in the back of there there is a breeder directory, where you could find a breeder of the hen you wanted.
4. Start with local feed stores. There are chicken shows, too. (I'm assuming you're in the UK, so that's an advantage. There seems to be a lot of small-scale poultry over there.) Just google Guildford Poultry and you'll get a LOT of hits.
