Should I lock Barney in at night time?

Hi I own a 3/4 month old mini lop rabbit named Barney and he is kept in this hutch http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Large-Poultry-Chicken-House-Run-Coop-Rabbit-Hutch-009_W0QQitemZ260427759486QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Pet_Supplies_Poultry?hash=item3ca2b43f7e&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14but at night time at around 10pm i shut the door (but re-open at 7am)so he doesnt have acess to the run this is due to the cold weather, rain and darkness as well as next doors cats which i worry could pose a threat but am I doing the right thing please help inside he has water and food hay toys a carrot sometimes and a litter box

  2. Wow great hutch!! I wish I had that one for my rabbit. Anyway, I think that is fine! He needs time to sleep and relax, and when he is shut into the hutch this is a great time for him to get that much needed sleep. Also, he is loads safer in there at night if you are worried about cats.
