What kind of wood should you use to make a homemade incubator?

I am trying to make a incubator to hatch chicken eggs. I was just wondering if pine would work for a incubator. The concern I have is that pine might have harmful chemical that might kill the eggs

  1. Pine will work just fine. Eggs have an inner shell membrane that protects the embryo against just about everything: Bacteria, fungus, virus and pine.
  2. WOOD does not have harmful chemicals. TREATED wood does. The TYPE of tree is not an issue.
