How do you explain chicken pox to a 5 year old?

Cause he thinks that eating too much chicken gives you chicken pox. Please help!!!!!! omg,my son is so literal and wishy washy that it's crazy. he'll say that he doesn't want to go to school anymore or play with his friends.this would really freak him out. he didn't like for his cousin to drool all over his toy cars.this would be a very interesting conversation.

1. Explain to your child that you get chicken pox from other kids. It's that simple. Just tell him it's like a little elf that comes and draws these little dots on you!
2. just say that almost everyone gets the chicken poxs and that it has nothing to do with chickens... my Little sister thought she did the chicken dance to much when she got it
3. just say she's growing matureand that those are pimples
