How can I keep my baby chicks save from pets who eat them?
I have 3 chicks and a dog who's after them. How do I keep them save?

- put them in a cage up high
- Either pen chicks up or tie dog.
- You should not be having a dog living with 3 chicks! Either separate them in different cages or get rid of one...
- whether they are out or in i would simply keep them contained away from other pets or animals until they are old enough to take care of themselves , i know its messy but you can cage them inside till then, i have cats who would love to eat my bird but i just simply dont allow them around the bird.
- Build them a pen high off the ground where your dogs cant get them. They prefer to sleep up high anyway.
- Keep the dog in a room and close the door and then keep the chicks in a opened cage somewhere high or play with them when the dog is in the room. The dog should not be allowed to be in the same room as the chicks are unless the door is closed.
- You should put them in a special, safe, and warm place. Is your dog allowed in your room? If it isn't, then it might be the perfect place to keep your chicks. Find a room that your dog ISN'T allowed to be in so your chicks are safe!
