- In the freezer isle of your supermarket - my favorite brands are morning star and boca
- You can get substitute meat at Whole Foods Market. I'm not sure if you have one near you, but you can always cook tofu (which can be bought at any supermarket) if you can't find a Whole Foods. I hope this helps! -Xoxo Nina
- You can find them at walmart but they are usually where you wouldn't expect them to be. Faux meat is generally kept away from real meat. So for instance in walmart. Look in the Frozen fruit and dessert sections. Morningstar was great non-meat bbq ribs and also a good selection of meatless Chicken products. At a more specialized store you can find quorn products which are awesome faux meats. I loved them as a vegetarian. Boca also has some very good products. So, they do exist just takes a little perseverance sometimes to find them.
- Most major supermarket chains carry mock meats.
- In the US the biggest companies that make this type of product are: Morningstar Farms (they have a store locator, see link) http://www.morningstarfarms.com/store_finder.aspx Boca http://www.bocaburger.com/ Worthington - Loma Linda http://www.worthingtonfoods.com/ Morningstar and Boca are sold at most larger supermarkets.
- Most large markets carry a variety of mock meat. The best thing is to read the ingredients and see if they are to your liking.
