Are goth chicks immature?

I happen to have a thing for expressive and goth chicks and girls who die their hair any color of the rainbow on any given day. I love it but I can't decide if I am just having immature feelings for an immature person. I think it's great and I almost don't care what the rest of the World thinks but some times I don't see things perfectly clearly. I totally have feelings for women that expressive and cool about theirselves though. Oh I'm 21 years old so I sort of consider people on the basis of employment and all of that.

2. I don't think they are immature, unless they're like 13 years old then they probably are. I think women who are goth are just creative individuals who don't follow the mainstream crowd. If you're having doubts about goth women, then maybe you should find someone who is more like you.
3. Well, I'm 34 and I don't think I'm immature. I'm married, I have a good career and worked very hard to be able to own my own house, and even a vacation home. I bought my first house when I was 19 and in 15 years of owning a home, I've never even been late once on a mortgage payment, and my credit is near perfect. Immature people bug me - they always have. Of course, I can't speak for all "gothy" chicks. ;) One of my best friend is also a "goth chick". She's 37, married with a daughter, and owns her own business. My other best friend who is also "goth" is 27 and just graduated with a Masters Degree is psychology - she put herself through college by working 2 jobs. I could go on an on listing goth friends of mine who are mature and hard-working. Oh, and regarding what Kendra said - my husband isn't goth, and I've never actually dated any goth guys.

5. I have to agree with some of the other answers. Being goth doesn't say anything about a person's maturity. Yes, a lot of the teens who are into it and don't know anything about the actual subculture and are dressing the way they do to be scary are usually immature, but a lot of teens are immature no matter what they're into. Real goths who are in the scene because they honestly like the music and fashion tend to be older and can be as mature or immature as any non-goth. Liking a certain type of music or dressing a certain way doesn't have to determine a person's maturity level. I'm goth and I'll be 22 soon, and I'm going to start my last year of college in the fall. I'm an honors student, take the maximum number of courses pretty much every semester, work as a writing tutor, and plan on going to grad school. I also have excellent credit and have been in a fairly stable relationship for 3 and a half years. Seems pretty mature to me.
6. It all depends really. I'm sort of goth/metal at this point. I'm 32 and I used to be full on goth but that was 10/15 years ago now. I still know alot of girls my age who are goth and do normal and sometimes high paying jobs. They're some of the most mature and intelligent girls I've ever met. On the other hand most of the younger goth/emo girls I've met are very immature and pretty much trying to be dark or whatever. (I said most so don't anyone out there take offense). The best thing I could suggest is if you have feelings for someone go for it based on that and not their culture/music/fasion..... Also, stop worrying about the world. Yes you have to sometimes for work and other such things. But for the rest, be who you feel comfortable being. Date who you want to date.
7. Most of us aren't immature. It depends on the individual. Just because we're goth doesn't mean we're all the same. You will find if you date one goth girl then another goth girl after the first one they won't be alike. Most of us are very mature. Even the really young ones (twelve, thirteen, fourteen.) Gothic or not you'll find no girl is the same. Maybe you just notice and like the beauty and uniqueness of goth girls.
8. I don't know if ALL goth chicks are immature, but mine is not. She practically raised her brother and sister herself because her mom is a bitch who needs to rot in the lowest pits of hell! But yeah, she's pretty damn independent and mature. : )
