How much would boneless skinless chicken breasts cost for about 50 people?
We're doing a murder mystery dinner theater at school for about 50 people, and Tyson might donate chicken to us, but if not, we need to know how much it would cost. Also, any cheap chicken meals would be great Thanks:)

- Chicken is freakin expensive - especially the breasts. You'd do better to use legs and thighs - quarter chickens are still elegant but much cheaper and will stay juicier, which is important when cooking for so many people. Even better, consider using pork. It is DIRT CHEAP right now. 3 small chicken breasts run around 6 bucks in the store - slightly better if bought in bulk, nice pork chops are probably less than 1/2 that. Chicken Meal Idea: GREEK CHICKEN. In the cafe where I work, this is EXTREMELY popular and is easy to make for a crowd. - Throw a poop-ton of garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, dried oregano, (and salt & pepper) in a food processor or blender and blitz it. - Dump it over quarter chickens (leg and thigh) and let marinate 24 hours. - Pop the quarter chickens onto a greased baking sheet (pouring any marinade on top)and bake at around 375 until golden brown, and crispy (about 40 - 45 minutes). The chicken can be kept warm in chafing dishes with whatever marinade is left on the baking sheet after cooking, without drying out for a few hours even. - Serve with rice and greek salad. Hope that helps!
- I buy boneless skinless chicken breast alot. Its cheaper if you buy chicken breast with the bone already in it and take the bone out yourself by using a deboning knife. If you get the big chicken breast with the bone you could slice it into two plus you get more in a pack as oppose to bonless chicken breast. Learned this from culinary school.
- Figure 4 oz (raw) per person. That means 1 lb. will feed 4 people. Bnls, Sknless is about $3 a lb. if you shop wisely. You do the math from there.
- £20-£40,depending on the quality and price
