How does Incubators work? in terms of biology ?

i had this question for home work and i really need help with it please! post an answer please asap! Thank you !

  1. It's a safe warm and above all controlled environment in which to either nurture the very young or (in the case of bird eggs) to ensure that maximum hatching will occur because the conditions are completely right (as set by the person who is in charge of it)
  2. Incubators provide a stable environment (temperature, light, nutrients, oxygen, etc) for a living animal that is in need of such a condition - i.e. an egg, an ailing baby, a sick adult animal.
  3. An incubator is a device which allows something to grow by controlling environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, oxygen concentration, etc. Usually, they are used for bacteria but have also been instrumental for premature births. The term can also be used for any place or situation which permits or encourages the formation and development of ideas.
