what are the six categories of poultry recognized by the USDA? i have looked on the usda website and googled it a few times and i cant find it, i need it for my homework.

The 6 classes for chicken are: Broiler/fryer Capon Cornish game hen Fowl (stewing hens or baking hens) Rooster Poussin Duck Classes: Duckling (broiler/fryer) Roaster Mature Goose Classes: Young Mature -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Game Birds: Guinea Fowl/Guinea Hen Classes: Baby Mature Pigeon Classes: Squab Pigeon Partridge, Pheasant and Quail are not broken into classes.
