Why do people from the UK, Korea and other countries make really corny hip hop songs?

I was just wondering if there were hip hop songs in other countries besides America on Youtube, and I couldn't stop laughing at all these videos of them trying to rap and sound all "gangsta"! For example this "Lady Sovereign" chick from the UK tries to be all blinged out and stuff and her music is soooo cooorrrny. Then I looked up hip hop music in Korea and it was just hilarious. some group named 2NE1 rapping in Korean, trying to act all "hardcore" and stuff! Why do they do this? I don't get it! It looks so corny and the music videos are SO poorly made! In fact in some parts of music videos I couldn't even laugh, because it just looked SOO AWKWARD! and hip hop is like PURE American music... Other countries trying to have their own hip hop is like a Chinese person trying to sing country music! It just sounds silly.. so why?? WHY?
