  1. Don't cook chicken wings in a crock pot, please! Asian Chicken Wings Salt and pepper to taste 3 pounds of chicken wings, about 16 large pieces, separated at the joint to make wing drums 1 1/2 cups of barbecue sauce or chunky chili sauce 1/4 cup of honey 1/4 cup of soy sauce 4 scallions, white and green parts, sliced thin 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh ginger root 3 tablespoons of toasted sesame seeds Salt and pepper the chicken wings. Place on a broiler pan. Broil for 4 to 5 inches from heat for about 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until browned. Lightly spray a 4 or 6 quart slow cooker with vegetable cooking spray. Combine the barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, scallions, garlic, ginger, and sesame seeds in the slow cooker. Add the browned wings and stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours, or until the chicken is tender and tests done. Makes 32 appetizer servings or 4 entree portions
  2. Here are 2 really good ones enjoy... TERIYAKI CHICKEN WINGS 1 (10 oz.) bottle soy sauce 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce (optional) 1 pkg. chicken wings Either marinate chicken wings overnight or use crock pot on low for 8 hours. Combine all ingredients and add mixture to chicken wings. If marinated overnight bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour; drain excess sauce. If use crock pot, cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Well, I cook chicken legs in a crock pot, it put them in, season them, add 1/4 cp of BBQ sauce and let them cook on High for 6 hrs, they are the most delicious, fall off the bone chicken I've had.
