Does anyone know a healthy chicken recipe that can be made on the stove top?

Please -- something with few ingredients that's healthy and delicious!!! I dont have an oven. LOL.

  1. 4 ingredients or less: canola oil, chicken (sliced into thin pieces to get cooked) onion, and green peppers....plus you can have it in a tortilla shell
  2. Even easier, chicken breasts, 2 TBSP of olive oil, some Tony's Cachere's (sp?)
  3. Poach it in seasoned water, turning the pieces a few times untill cooked. Allow to cool, remove meat from the bones and shred. Return to the fry pan and thicken the liquid. Tip. You may want to save some of the stock for later use in a soup or something.
  4. Dredge chicken in flour. Saute Chicken in heated oil over medium heat until skin is golden brown. Remove chicken from pan and set aside. Bring a can of chicken broth to a boil in pan, add diced potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, and onions if you want. Add chicken back to pan, cover and simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes.
  5. my family LOVES this and you wouldn't beleive how easy and flavorful it is. i usually use a bit extra lemon and garlic,that's how my 5 year old likes it..... Garlic Lemon Chicken Breast Fillets 4 chicken breast fillets, skinless 1 lemon 3 garlic cloves 1/2 teaspoon thyme Juice lemon. Finely mince garlic. Combine half garlic with lemon juice. Using a sharp knife, slice small openings into chicken breast. Stuff garlic into slits in chicken. Baste with lemon and garlic. Sprinkle thyme over top, (add a little to lemon mix). Place onto a wire rack over a tray of water. Bake for approx 1 hour in moderately hot oven.Baste regularly. Alternatively you could prep the same and grill or bbq chicken.

Stuffed Chicken Breasts Stuffing: 1) Sun-dried Tomatoes and fresh basil 2) Spinach and Ricotta Cheese First cut a pocket into the chicken length wise then stuff with either stuffing, closing with a toothpick. Dredge chicken in four and saute in a pan with a little oil. After chicken is cooked through add 3/4 C. Chicken Broth and 1/4 C. Balsamic Vinegar, cover and simmer for 5-7 mins. Enjoy.
