Why does soda with sugar make spicy chicken wings taste spicier?
If your a chicken wing eater like me, you may have noticed that if you drink a soda with sugar (such as coke or pepsi) It intensifies the heat, whereas if you drink a soda without sugar (such as diet coke) this doesn't happen? anyone know why?

- it's really the gas in the soda that does it. The bubbles make the tongue even more irritated, but if you make the soda flat then it won't burn your tongue as much. That's what I do because I love spicy food and I almost alway drink a soda with it.
