Is it easier to hatch duck eggs or chicken eggs?

Is there more of a chance that the chicken eggs will hatch more than the duck eggs (or vice-versa)? And how do you make a homemade incubator?

2. Hi, As long as the egg is fertile, you've every chance of either them hatching, Chicken eggs take 21 days, while duck eggs take 28 days to incubate. If your serious about making an incubator, I suggest you make the Kuku from this site:- http://www.birdsale.com.au/Details/DIY_Incubators.html I made one for my Son this year, and it's as good as the £350 model I bought, He's had some excellent results from it.
