Help with this chicken noodle casserole recipe please?

I'm attempting this recipe, but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to add the water to the canned soups or throw it out and just bake the chicken with the soups and corn without water. http://easy.betterrecipes.com/chicken-noodle-casserole.html Method Boil chicken in about 3 cups of water until done, about 20 minutes. Remove chicken, add pasta to water. Cook for 7 minutes. Drain. Preheat oven to 350 degree. Shred the chicken. Add chicken and pasta to 9 x 13 baking dish. Stir in canned soups and drained corn and mix well. Smooth top of casserole and cover with crumbled potato chips. Bake for 30 minutes.

  1. just dump the can of soup in, don't add any water and like it says, drain the corn if you have French fried onions they would work better then potato chips, but don't add them until the last five min or they will get too dark
  2. Save the water the chicken was boiled in - use that to cook the pasta, drain then throw out. Don't add the water to the soups. It will be too watery. I'm not too crazy about this recipe nutrition wise. Lots of sodium between the soups and the chips. No spices either.
  3. Nope don't add the water to the soups, just straight up out of the can into the casserole!
