How do I add a chicken coop to Facebook's farmville game if I have no open land?

I tried leaving several plots unplowed after harvesting but it won't let me drag and drop the chicken coop there. Do I somehow have to 'undig" the plots or something? So...how do you get rid of already plowed land? I don't have enough FV cash to buy more land yet

1. no, you have to make sure that the ground underneath the coop is all green, not the red squares you also have to delete the unplowed land to get more land, you have to buy it at the market. answer mine please? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20091230074405AASAJmS&r=w
2. you can't. you can only put a chicken coop on land that is not plowed or unplowed. you'll have to get rid of that land first. or you could just make your farm bigger by buying it at the market.
3. Upgrade your farm or get rid of some plots using the shovel.
4. you need to use the delete tool that has the red handle, on the bottom right corner, just below the camera icon and next to plow tool. it can delete already plowed land including not yet harvested crops.
5. Use the delete tool and then select the land you have plowed that you want to delete.
