Chook Me!

What are some good hot wing recipes?

I LOVE hot wings and are planning on making them soon. I just like them really hot with lots of sauce but I am open to other kinds of chicken wing flavors. Also if you have recipes to make good blue cheese with it too would be nice. Any ansers are appreciated.

  1. I made these hot wings for my boyfriend and they were a huge hit with him. They were very hot (almost too hot for me, and that's saying a lot). If you like garlic and hot sauce then these are perfect for you! http://www.andreasrecipes.com/2009/01/12/cajun-wings-and-a-giveaway/
  2. Get some wing sauce or make your own, and add some garlice butter to it!! So good
  3. Try this...it works with me: Ingredients: 5 lbs chicken wings Louisiana hot sauce Italian bread crumbs blue cheese dressing celery (cut into strips) Preheat oven 350°F. Discard tips from wings. Clean and marinate wings in hot sauce (at least 1 hour - overnight is best). Empty wings and sauce into baking pan, sprinkle bread crumbs over top of wings. Bake at 350°F for about an hour (or just until wings are thoroughly done). Dip wings and celery into blue cheese dressing and enjoy :) ....
  4. Mine is pretty simple, but really good. 1/2 cup Frank's Buffalo Wing Sauce 6 Tbsp. butter 1 packet Good Seasonings Italian dressing mix Combine the butter and Frank's until the butter is melted, then whisk in the Italian dressing powder and simmer for 10 minutes. Dunk the partially cooked wings in it and then finish off in the oven. And our favorite blue cheese is Kraft Extra Chunky blue cheese dressing.
  5. I came up with this recipe a while ago and it's gotten nothing but rave reviews. Enjoy! Buffalo Wings like Hooter's 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp. black pepper 20 chicken wing segments 1/2 cup butter OR margarine 1/2 cup hot sauce -In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and peppers. -Coat chicken entirely in the flour mixture; refrigerate coated wings for 1 hour; coat chicken again with remaining flour mixture. -In a 2-quart saucepan, heat butter and hot sauce just until butter melts; turn heat to low and keep warm on stove top. -Deep-fry chicken, 8 - 10 pieces at a time, in 375 degree oil (vegetable oil, canola oil, or peanut oil) for 13 minutes, turning once or twice. -Drain chicken on a wire cooling rack for 30 seconds, then immediately toss fried chicken in buffalo sauce mixture and remove with a slotted spoon. -Repeat with remaining chicken. Adjusting the spiciness of the sauce: As is, the recipe produces a medium sauce. To change the amount of spiciness, simply adjust the butter-to-hot sauce-ratio: Mild: Use 3/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup hot sauce. Hot: Use 1/4 cup butter and 3/4 cup hot sauce.
  6. After you wash your wing pieces, place them on a rack over a pan in the refrigerator overnight to dry. This really does make them crispier. I use a mix of Red Devil, Buffalo Jalapeno sauce, Chipotle Tabasco, and a little butter for my sauce. I'm still looking for a decent Habanero sauce.
