I'm referring to ANY type of broccoli casserole--the ones that are made with cheese, chicken, or rice. ANY type. If you did like it, do you still have the recipe?

- always use up left over ham with a macaroni/ or rotini casserole with broccoli . just cook pasta cook broccoli semi dente add ham diced and make a cheese sauce by melting butter and stirring in milk cook and as it thickens melt in grated cheddar pour into casserole dish over other ingredients and mix in top with seasoned bread crumbs and parmeisan cheese Bake at 350 uncovered 25 to 30 minutes
- Yes I have eaten the traditional recipe made with Minute Rice, Cheese Whiz, cream of mushroom soup and frozen brocolli. I don't care for that recipe. I make mine with basmati rice, real grated Colby cheese, fresh brocolli steamed lightly, sliced mushrooms that have been sauteed in olive oil, and a tablespoon or so of finely minced onion also sauteed in oil, mix together with a can of cream of mushroom soup and a can of milk. Pour into a greased casserole dish, sprinkle lightly with paprika and bake at 350 degrees until bubbly. You can add a chopped boiled chicken breast to the mixture before baking if you wish. It will have all 4 food groups in it then.
- 5 tbsp. butter 1 medium onion finely chopped 20 oz. of thawed chopped frozen broccoli 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup undiluted 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 cup mayonnaise 2 medium eggs, beaten 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice 12 finely crushed Ritz crackers 2 quart casserole dish Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a skillet melt 3 tbsp. of butter over medium-high heat. Saute onions in the skillet until they become translucent. In a large mixing bowl add all the ingredients except the remaining 2 tbsp. of butter and the crushed crackers. Mix ingredients thoroughly. Pour combined ingredients into the casserole dish. Top with remaining butter and crackers. Bake uncovered for approximately 45 minutes or until throughly heated and browned on top. ___________________________________ So simple & easy & delicious! Ingredients 2 (10 ounce) packages chopped frozen broccoli 1 cup chopped onion 1 (8 ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup mayonnaise 1 can mushroom soup 2 eggs Directions 1 In a medium sauce pan, cook broccoli and onion until tender, drain. 2 In large bowl add remaining ingredients. 3 Add broccoli and onion. 4 Mix well. 5 Put in a 13x9 baking dish. 6 Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes ____________________ 2 pkgs frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained 1/4 cup butter or margarine 2 tbsp flour 1/2 cup milk 1/4 cup chopped onion 8 ounces Cheese Whiz 3 eggs, beaten 1 tsp salt buttered cracker crumbs Preparation: In saucepan, combine oleo, flour and milk and cook until slightly thickened. Stir in broccoli and onion. Mix Cheese Whiz, eggs, and salt and add to broccoli mixture. Put in greased baking dish. Top with buttered cracker crumbs.
