Chook Me!

How dangerous is the chicken pox at an older age?

I'm 19 and never had the chicken pox. I'm wondering if chicken pox is really THAT dangerous if I get it older or later on in life. My mom got the chicken pox when she was pregnant with me, so I don't know if that count for anything. Thanks :]

  1. You'll need some advice by your doctor about this one. The pregnancy effect can mean that you might have immunity from then passed on through the umbilical chord. Chicken Pox can be very bad when you get older and painful. You're on a PC, just look it up. Please do this not only for yourself but you'll need the info for the future too. Today's world is full of data gathering and insurance prowess. Soon you'll need to know everything about yourself from fetus to geriatric age and be able to somehow prove it. I, for one, am getting a tad bit tired with too many others wanting and/or saying they have a need to know. Where's my right to privacy gone as promised? Anyway, before I go off on a rampage let me tell everyone to learn what they can about them self and then they can decide what to know or not to too. Good luck and God Bless
