question about cell culture?

i do not have a co2 incubator what the alternative solution what about hepes what about culturepal sachet please answer me in details, i am new in cell cultur could you tell me about your success in sealed containers with alka seltzer, Please? i do not have enough budget for culturepal How you maintained co2 at 5% during your experiment?

I have used sealed containers with alka seltzer with success, though not on human cell culture, so some of this stuff just depends on what you culture, and how reproducible you need things to be. I looked at the CulturPal thing. That seems reasonable if it fits your budget. I also found a reference for the Hepes buffer question. But if you go that route you have to make your own medium. In the paper below they note that they obtain different results for at least some measurements and they seem to derive from the medium modification. So, if you want to compare your results to others, and the cells you want to use are typically grown in CO2 incubators then perhaps the CulturePal method would be the best.
