  1. With chicken wire and lumber.
  2. wire and wood
  3. I own 2 chickens but 30 or 20? i use a 3d triangle thing with 2 floors. top for nest and bottom for food.
  4. First, build a largish (10X12X 6.5 tall) wooden room. Make it have a person door(locking from outside) and a little chicken door to their outdoor cage. Next build enough nest boxes for 15-20 hens because they won't all be laying eggs at the same time. Also put some roosts across the room about chest height for them to roost on as they like to sleep up high. Make sure it is solid and animals can't get in. Good Luck!
  5. For a chicken coop, you want to make sure that you have at least 3 square feet on the floor per bird. Hopefully, your chickens have access to a run or some outdoors for exercise. Otherwise, you'll need a much larger coop. Next, you'll need some perches for roosting. Also, some nesting boxes. You want to have less nesting boxes than birds because hens tend to all want to nest in the same area. One nest per 3 hens is just about right; anymore is a waste of space. You will need some straw or wood chips to cover the floor. You will need windows for ventilation. You will need a door that the birds can go in and out of, and a door that you can go in and out of. Here are some ideas for great chicken coops. Some are very fancy, but if you don't want to be quite a fancy, at least you can get some good ideas. Good luck, and have fun! http://www.backyardchickens.com/coopdesigns.html
