Chicken salad?

What is a good recipe for chicken salad? Also, what kind of bread, snacks, and drinks are good with it?

  1. I boil chicken and don't measure anything but this is what I add. Mayo Onions Green peppers grapes toasted almonds celery salt pepper
  2. 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 cups chopped, cooked chicken meat 1/2 cup blanched slivered almonds 1 stalk celery, chopped Place almonds in a frying pan. Toast over medium-high heat, shaking frequently. Watch carefully, as they burn easily. In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, lemon juice, and pepper. Toss with chicken, almonds, and celery. (people said to add minced onion, garlic powder, onion powder and dijon) -------------------- serve it on fresh oatmeal bread w/ lettuce grapes and potato chips on the side have ice tea or lemonade as the drink

  4. CHICKEN SALAD 1 7 oz. Creamette elbow macaroni 1 1/2 to 2 lbs chicken breast 1 small. onion, diced (red) 1 green bell pepper 1 red bell pepper 1 celery stalk, chopped Salt and Pepper to taste 2 boiled eggs, chopped placed on top at the end Hellmann's mayonnaise Frozen peas Cut up vegetables Cook the noodles and add the frozen peas at the last 3 minutes of the boiling noodles. Drain and rinse with cold water. Add vegetable, mayonnaise, noodles and peas then the chicken. Using the canned chicken add the water from the can. Add at the end with the rest so it does not break up to much. You will have to add more mayonnaise as it soaks up about 1 to 2 hours later. If using cooked chicken, add onion, celery together until done. Cool cooked chicken dice. Add salt and salad dressing or mayonnaise. Add chopped eggs. Garnish with paprika. Optional - a pinch of Paprika on eggs, but not to much otherwise it will change the taste to much. Optional - cherry tomatoes. Note: you can substitute 1 large can of chicken meat for the chicken breasts. French bread, TEXMEX CHICKEN SNACK 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast 1 can black beans (540 ml) 1 can corn (540 ml) 1 small onion 4 garlic cloves (minced) 1 small red pepper 1 tablespoon oregano 1/2 tablespoon basil black pepper and salt, to taste Monterey Jack Cheese with hot peppers tostadas or tortilla chips Slice the onion and cook them in a little bit of butter until they almost get caramelized. Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces and added to the onions. Once the chicken is cooked, add the garlic and red pepper. When everything is tender, season with salt, pepper, oregano and basil. Add beans (don't forget to rinse them) and corn. Sprinkle Monterey Pepper Jack Cheese on top to melt. LEMON SELTZER DRINK 3/4 cup seltzer water 2 tsp. sugar juice of half a lemon Pour seltzer water into a glass, add lemon juice. Next add sugar. Be careful, sugar and seltzer react, and might overflow the cup. Serve chilled with ice.

  11. simple chicken salads recipe is grilled chicken(or any kind u may have) and what =ever veggies u have in your house. To make it look nice layer is or just decorate it on the top. A great bread would be a garlic roll and french bread with butter, snacks would be toasted nuts or something of that nature and drinks would be lemonade.

This is really good and easy- 4 chicken fillets 4 tablespoons orange juice 1/2 cups soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon garlic 1/4 teaspoon salt few pinches black peeper 2 tablespoons honey 1 tablespoons tomato sauce 3 handfuls mixed lettuce 2 boiled egg 16 slices cucumber 8 slices cherry tomato 1/2 cup crumbled macadamia nuts 1/2 cup each cup vegetable oil, Muille french mustard and honey (serves 4) Instructions remove skin and fat from chicken, combine orange juice, soy sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, honey and tomato sauce, pour over chicken and allow to marinate for a couple of hours, when well marinated cook on hot barbecue for 3 minutes on either side then place in a medium oven while you prepare salad. Wash lettuce and drain well, place a handful on each of 4 dinner plates, around the border put a slice of cucumber, a slice of boiled egg and half of a cherry tomato. Slice the chicken fillets length ways, about 8 slices per fillet and layer over lettuce. Combine oil, mustard and honey, beat in the blender, when creamy pour a couple of tablespoons over chicken and sprinkle with toasted macadamia nuts. ENJOY and good luck. regards, ja
  13. I use Canned Chicken or Rotisserie Chicken. I don't measure anything, everything is too taste. Mayo Mustard Green Onions Pickles Salt and Pepper Dried Italian Seasonings Celery Garlic Salt Sliced Grapes Apple Chunks Dried Cranberries Mix Everything together in a Large Bowl I serve on a Bed of Lettuce with Saltine Crackers or Club Crackers. and Lipton Lemon Tea. Sometimes I eat it for Dinner with Vegetables Enjoy
  14. cooked chicken. I throw it together like tuna salad. I prefer a whole grain bread but any will work. Saltines and Ritz crackers are good with it. I like milk or juice with mine.
