I need receipe for oven baked chicken to taste as good as outdoor bbq?

I run a catering company out of my house and it is too cold to grill outdoors. We just got an order for bbq chicken. How can I do it in the oven and have it taste as if it was done outdoors?

1. 2/3 c. ketchup 2 tbsp. soy sauce 2 1/2 tbsp. packed brown sugar 3/4 tsp. dry mustard Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a 13x9x2 glass baking dish with aluminum foil. Spray foil with Pam. Place chicken in baking dish. Combine sauce ingredients and spoon over chicken. Bake for 50-60 minutes until chicken is no longer pink inside. Serves 4.
2. You can turn on your oven as hot as it will go, and throw the chicken directly on the grill...as the flame roars spray it with a fire extinguisher and open all the windows to let out the toxic smoke. I hope that helps!

4. I hate to be a bit*h here but you are running a business. If the client wants BBQ chicken and you agreed to provide it you better suck it up and fire up the grill. If you call the client back and explain the circumstances beyond your control prohibit you from providing the BBQ chicken but you can provide an oven baked chicken with a BBQ sauce would that be acceptable. If they are agreeable then you can worry about how to do oven baked chicken with a BBQ sauce. But until then you have contracted to provide BBQ chicken. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
5. the answer above me is correct, i've tried to do this for years and perfected it. You cook it at 450 with salt, pepper, and garlic. After 45 minutes take out the chicken and put a few tblspoons of liquid smoke on the chicken and baste with bbq sauce, cook for another 15-20 minutes. That's as close as you can come to indoor bbq chicken. Remember it's not at all close to the real crisp chicken you get on a bbq grill but it's as close as you'll get.
6. You wont get it to taste the same. Some people wil lrecomdn using liquid smoke. It will taste artificial trust me. Either tell them you have to do it indoors or suck it up and g outside.
