Chook Me!

I need a frozen chicken tender recipe I can make in the oven with just the following things...?

I only have shredded cheese, 2 eggs, butter, flour, salt, pepper, bread crumbs, spaghetti sauce, parsley, and frozen chicken tenderloins. I also have 1 cookie sheet, 1 casserole dish with a lid. I'm a complete nightmare when it comes to cooking of any kind and I need to be instructed like a kindergartner. Can anyone help? Is it possible to make anything edible with those tools/ingredients?

  1. Well you'd need to thaw the chicken tenderloins first. Either set them on really low defrost in a microwave or put in a bowl with some luke warm water and just wait until they are not frozen anymore. You could break the eggs in a bowl and set it aside. Pour some bread crumbs with some flour and the salt & pepper on a plate. Then take your chicken strips and dip them in the egg mix and then coat them with the bread crumb and flour mix (use one hand only so both your hands don't get all gunky). Put them on your pre-oiled (or rub some of that butter you have) cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees, turning once for probably about 20 or 30 min. Just near the end you could sprinkle some of the cheese on top to melt. You mentioned you had spaghetti sauce but do you have any pasta or just the sauce? If you had both then you could obviously just cook the pasta, heat the sauce and have that with the chicken. If you don't have the pasta then you could just heat the sauce up separately and pour that over the chicken as well.
  2. Beat the eggs with milk or water until frothy and stir in some of the cheese. Then combine flour, salt, pepper, parsley, and some bread crumbs. Dip each of chicken into the egg ad cheese mixture, then coat it with the flour picture. Put the chicken in the casserole dish and bake it. When the chicken is done(the outside should be a golden brown) dump the spaghetti sauce all over the chicken, then put the rest of the cheese on top and put it back into the oven until the cheese is golden.
