How can I test the humidity level in an incubator?
I'm planning on hatching duck eggs. I have this incubator: http://www.fleetfarm.com/catalog/product_detail/farm-livestock/poultry-supplies-equipment/incubators-hatchers/little-giant-still-air-incubator I have a thermometer to keep tabs on the temperature. However, I have to keep the humidity level at 86%. How do I test that? Thanks!

- Measuring humidity is easy. anything with a remote probe will work: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EX83RU/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_3?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B001AKCLVK&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=03HENMX1A3GSMKFQ1R17 Adjusting humidity is less easy. You can place a damp sponge or pan of water inside, maybe with paper towels hanging out of it to wick up water and increase surface area for evaporation. try messing around with different arrangements.
